The NIBCO PRES45STLFTGC34 is a copper 45-degree elbow fitting designed for press-connect plumbing installations. It features a fitting-to-press (FTG x Press) end configuration with a 0.75-inch nominal size. This elbow redirects flow at a 45-degree angle without the need for soldering, making it well suited for new construction and retrofit work in tight spaces or where open flame is restricted. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting in residential and light commercial water distribution systems. The press-connect end accepts a standard jaw-and-ring press tool to create a permanent, leak-free joint.
This fitting is used in hot and cold potable water supply lines, hydronic heating systems, and other copper piping applications where a 45-degree directional change is required. The FTG end accepts standard copper tubing outside diameter, allowing it to slip over a pipe end for in-line or transition connections. It is a practical choice for mechanical rooms, under-slab work, and any install where torch-free joining is preferred or required by local code.
Designed as an OEM-style press-connect copper elbow for use in 0.75-inch residential and light commercial copper piping systems where FTG x Press end connections are required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before installation. Use a compatible press tool and the correct jaw-and-ring set rated for 0.75-inch copper press fittings. Inspect the pipe end for burrs or debris and ensure the pipe is fully seated to the fitting stop before pressing.
