The NIBCO PCH61134X34X12 is a copper press tee fitting designed for flame-free joining of copper tubing systems. It connects 3/4-inch run ports to a 1/2-inch branch outlet using a press-crimp method that eliminates open flame and soldering. This fitting is part of the NIBCO PressG product line, engineered for gas distribution, compressed air, and water service applications. Installation is fast and requires only a compatible press tool and jaw set. When properly crimped, a unique N witness mark becomes visible, confirming full seating and a secure connection. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the typical installers in both residential and light commercial projects.
The PCH61134X34X12 is rated for use in residential and commercial gas systems, compressed air lines, and copper water tube installations. It can be installed in above-ground and underground applications, making it suitable for a wide range of piping configurations. The fitting joins seamless copper water tube and is well suited for new construction, retrofit, and renovation projects where open-flame work is restricted or impractical. Its 3/4 x 3/4 x 1/2 inch reducing tee configuration is commonly used when branching a half-inch line off a three-quarter-inch main.
Designed for use with seamless copper water tube in residential and commercial gas, compressed air, and potable water piping systems. Requires a compatible press tool, jaw, and chain for installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) as required by jurisdiction. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before making any connections. Use only a compatible press tool and correctly sized jaw set — do not attempt to crimp with non-approved tooling. Refer to NIBCO technical data sheets and catalogs for full engineering and installation requirements.
