The NIBCO PCH61111X34X34 is a copper press tee fitting designed for joining seamless copper tubing in residential and commercial piping systems. This reducing tee connects a 1-inch run with two 3/4-inch outlets using a press-fit connection, eliminating the need for soldering or open flame on the jobsite. A licensed plumber or pipefitter presses the fitting with a compatible pressing tool, and a unique N-shaped witness mark becomes visible on the fitting when the crimp is complete and properly seated. The design delivers a fast, reliable joint suitable for potable water, compressed air, and gas distribution lines.
This fitting is rated for use in residential and commercial applications including domestic water supply, compressed air systems, and gas piping. It is also approved for underground installation, making it a versatile choice for below-slab or buried copper runs. The press-fit method is especially useful in occupied buildings or tight spaces where torch work is restricted or hazardous. NIBCO PressG fittings cover a full range of copper and copper alloy press components, and this tee is part of that system-wide product family.
Designed for use with seamless copper water tube in residential and commercial gas, compressed air, and water distribution systems as part of the NIBCO PressG press fitting system. Requires a compatible pressing tool with the appropriate jaw or ring for copper press connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and NIBCO technical data sheets. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before cutting into any existing line. Do not use flame or solder with press fittings. Verify the N witness mark is fully visible on all connections before returning the system to service.
