The NIBCO PCH60334 is a 3/4-inch Press x Female adapter fitting designed for joining copper tubing systems without soldering, threading, or open flame. Part of the NIBCO PressG line, this fitting uses a press-crimp connection method that creates a secure, leak-free joint when properly crimped with a compatible pressing tool. A unique N witness mark becomes visible on the fitting after a correct crimp, giving installers immediate visual confirmation of a complete connection. Plumbers and pipefitters working in residential and commercial environments rely on PressG fittings where speed and flame-free installation are priorities.
The PCH60334 is suited for use in residential and commercial copper tubing systems carrying potable water, as well as gas distribution and compressed air applications where press-style copper fittings are code-approved. These fittings are also approved for underground installation, expanding their use in service runs and buried distribution lines. The press-crimp design significantly reduces installation time compared to traditional solder joints, making this fitting well suited for occupied buildings, retrofit projects, and time-sensitive service calls.
Designed for use with seamless copper water tube in press-fit piping systems. Compatible with residential and commercial gas, potable water, and compressed air applications where PressG-style copper fittings are specified. Confirm tool and jaw compatibility with NIBCO technical data sheets before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing and mechanical codes. Shut off and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing line. A compatible pressing tool with the correct jaw size for 3/4-inch fittings is required to achieve a proper crimp. Refer to NIBCO technical data sheets and installation guides for complete engineering and procedure requirements.
