The NIBCO NLL213F is a lug-style, high-performance dual-offset butterfly valve from the LCS-7822-3 series, designed for demanding shutoff and throttling applications in commercial and industrial piping systems. Rated at 300 lb pressure class with a maximum temperature rating of 400 degrees F, this valve is built for service in high-pressure, high-heat environments. The carbon steel body pairs with a stainless steel disc and stainless steel stem pin for corrosion resistance and long service life. At 1.88 inches face-to-face (inlet to outlet), it fits compact installation spaces. A lever-operated actuator with a throttle plate comes included for precise flow control. Licensed piping mechanics and industrial pipefitters are the primary installers of this valve type.
The NLL213F is suited for commercial mechanical rooms, industrial process piping, and HVAC hydronic systems where Class 300 ratings are required. The lug-style body allows the valve to be installed as a dead-end service point without a downstream flange, a common requirement in industrial retrofit and isolation applications. PTFE seats provide reliable shutoff across a wide temperature range, making this valve appropriate for steam, water, and compatible fluid services up to 400 degrees F. The dual-offset disc geometry reduces seat wear during cycling and extends service life compared to single-offset designs.
Designed as an OEM-style lug butterfly valve for Class 300 flanged piping systems requiring a 3-inch nominal connection with ISO actuation mounting pad provisions.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or journeyman plumber familiar with Class 300 flanged systems. Isolate and depressurize the line and confirm the system fluid is compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, and PTFE before installation. Verify flange bolt patterns and gasket alignment to the lug bolt holes before torquing fasteners. Consult applicable codes including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 as appropriate for the system service classification.
