The NIBCO NLG200D is a manual lug-style butterfly valve designed for flow isolation and regulation in piping systems. Built around a ductile iron body and ductile iron disc, the valve incorporates a stainless steel stem with a 416 material grade for corrosion resistance. It accepts a 2-inch pipe connection and operates via a lever handle for straightforward manual actuation. Rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure, the NLG200D carries an EPDM seat and is certified lead-free, making it suitable for a range of commercial and industrial piping applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers.
This lug butterfly valve is suited for commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and fluid-handling systems where a wafer-to-flange bolted installation is required. The lug-style body allows the valve to be installed at a pipeline end point or between flanges without a downstream flange when used as a dead-end service valve. It meets MSS SP-67 standards and U.S. Coast Guard Category A requirements, positioning it for use in marine and regulated commercial environments in addition to standard building mechanical systems.
Designed as an OEM-style lug butterfly valve for 2-inch piping systems requiring ANSI-flanged lug-body installation in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or marine fluid-handling applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and ANSI piping standards. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing any existing valve or installing this unit. The lug-body design requires proper bolt engagement through the lugs into downstream flange holes; verify bolt pattern alignment with the mating flanges before torquing. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 250 psi during system commissioning or pressure testing.
