Product Description

The NIBCO NL9540D is a 2-inch, 2-piece standard manual ball valve built for demanding plumbing, hydronic, and industrial piping applications. The bronze body and bronze trim provide corrosion resistance in both hot and cold water systems. A full-port design maintains unrestricted flow through the valve bore, minimizing pressure drop across the fitting. Reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seats and seals deliver a reliable shut-off and withstand a maximum working pressure of 600 psi and temperatures up to 400 degrees F. The lever handle includes a memory stop for repeatable positioning in the field.

This valve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, process piping, and compressed air or steam systems where a full-port bronze ball valve is required. The female NPT on both ends allows straightforward threaded installation into standard pipe runs.
