The NIBCO NL94GFC is a 1-piece standard manual ball valve designed for industrial and commercial piping systems requiring reliable shutoff at high operating pressures. Built with a carbon steel body and carbon steel trim, this valve handles working pressures up to 1500 psi and temperatures up to 400 degrees F. The 1-1/2 inch female NPT (FNPT) inlet and outlet connections allow straightforward inline installation. Reinforced PTFE seats and seals provide long-term resistance to wear and chemical exposure. A lever handle delivers quick quarter-turn operation for fast shutoff. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers of this valve.
The NL94GFC is suited for high-pressure water, oil, gas, and industrial fluid service in commercial and industrial piping systems. Its 1500 psi maximum working pressure rating makes it appropriate for demanding process piping, hydraulic lines, and compressed air systems. The FNPT x FNPT end connections are compatible with standard NPT-threaded pipe and fittings at the 1-1/2 inch pipe size. The 1-piece body construction reduces potential leak points compared to multi-piece designs, making it a practical choice where simplified maintenance is a priority.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 1-1/2 inch NPT-threaded piping systems in commercial and industrial applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B31.3 or B31.1 piping standards as appropriate. Depressurize and drain the system fully before removing an existing valve or installing this unit. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male NPT threads before making up connections; do not overtighten, as carbon steel threads can be damaged by excessive force. Verify that system pressure and temperature ratings do not exceed the valve specifications before returning the line to service.
