The NIBCO NL94GFA is a 1-inch, 1-piece standard manual ball valve designed for high-pressure fluid control in commercial and industrial piping systems. The body and trim are carbon steel, and the seats and seals are reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which provides chemical resistance and reliable shutoff across a wide service range. The valve is rated to 2000 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures up to 400 degrees F. A lever handle allows for quick quarter-turn operation, making it suitable for frequent actuation or throttling applications where fast shutoff is required. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors are the primary installers.
This valve is well suited for industrial process piping, hydronic systems, compressed air lines, and general fluid service where a high-pressure, full-port shutoff point is needed. The FNPT x FNPT end connections thread directly into standard female NPT fittings on carbon steel, black iron, or compatible piping systems. Its 1-piece body construction keeps the valve compact and reduces potential leak points, making it practical for tight mechanical spaces or in-line installations where access is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation ball valve for 1-inch female NPT piping systems in high-pressure industrial, commercial mechanical, and process applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local mechanical and plumbing codes. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing any existing valve or installing this one. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male NPT threads being joined, and avoid over-tightening, which can crack fittings or distort the valve body. Verify that system operating pressure and temperature do not exceed the valve ratings before returning the system to service.
