The NIBCO NL9200D is a Y-pattern swing check valve designed for commercial, mechanical, and industrial piping systems. It prevents backflow by allowing flow in one direction only, using a swinging disc against an integral seat. The valve body and trim are both bronze construction, rated at 600 psi and pressure class 300 lb. The Y-pattern body orientation reduces pressure drop compared to standard inline check valves. This valve is threaded with NPT end connections for straightforward installation into existing piping. It is domestically manufactured and suited for mechanical rooms, process piping, and industrial fluid systems.

This valve is intended for commercial, mechanical, and industrial applications where reliable backflow prevention is required in horizontal installations. The T-473-Y series Y-pattern design makes it well suited for systems where flow resistance needs to be minimized. Note that this valve is not rated for potable drinking water service per CA Section 116875 and carries a Low Lead Compliance designation of No. It should be selected for non-potable fluid service only.
