The NIBCO NL9200C is a Y-pattern swing check valve designed for 1-1/2 inch threaded pipe systems. It allows flow in one direction and closes automatically to prevent backflow, protecting pumps, compressors, and piping systems from reverse-flow damage. The bronze body handles a maximum working pressure of 600 WOG (water, oil, gas) and is rated to 421 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial and industrial plumbing applications. The PTFE seal material provides reliable seating and chemical resistance. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this valve in both new construction and retrofit work.
