Product Description

The NIBCO NL1T00B is a non-rising stem gate valve designed for 1-1/4 inch threaded pipe connections. The valve body and union bonnet are constructed from bronze, making it well suited for water, steam, and general-purpose fluid control in both residential and commercial plumbing and mechanical systems. It features a solid wedge disc and a Class 150 pressure rating. The union bonnet design allows the internal trim to be accessed and serviced without removing the valve body from the line. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors are the primary installers of this valve type.

This valve is a standard fit for 1-1/4 inch threaded piping systems in commercial and residential applications including potable water distribution, hydronic heating, and general utility service. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable International Plumbing Code (IPC) or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system and drain the line before removing an existing valve or threading in this valve. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before making up the connection. Do not use a pipe wrench on the valve body hex flats in a manner that transmits torque through the bonnet joint.
