The NIBCO NJ83005 is a 2-piece, full-port ball valve from the S-585-70 series, designed for shut-off service in commercial and light industrial piping systems. It features a bronze body, a polished chrome brass ball, and silicon bronze stem trim, with PTFE softgoods for reliable sealing. The valve carries a pressure rating of 600 psi and a temperature rating of 400 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of fluid and gas applications. Connection is made via solder end style on a 3/8 inch nominal size. A standard lever handle provides fast quarter-turn operation. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers for this type of valve.
