The NIBCO NJ7Q00B is a spring-actuated in-line lift check valve from the S-480-Y series, designed to prevent backflow in plumbing and hydronic piping systems. The valve features a bronze body with stainless steel and PTFE trim, providing corrosion resistance in demanding service conditions. It carries a 250 psi working pressure rating and a temperature rating of 353 degrees F, making it suitable for high-temperature hot water and steam applications. At a nominal size of 1-1/4 inches with solder end connections, this valve is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters as part of standard in-line piping assemblies.
