The NIBCO NJ2RA08 is a Y-type wye strainer in the S-222-A series, designed to protect downstream piping components by capturing debris and particulate from fluid systems before it reaches valves, pumps, and other equipment. The body is cast bronze rated at 125 psi, and the strainer element is a perforated stainless steel screen that resists corrosion in both hot and cold water service. A 3/8-inch blow-off port with a plug allows periodic cleanout without full system shutdown. This strainer is sized at 3/4 inch nominal with a solder-end connection and is manufactured domestically by NIBCO Inc.

Installation Notes
