The NJ0J00F is suited for commercial and industrial applications where a reliable, full-bore gate valve is required. Typical install scenarios include hydronic heating and cooling systems, steam distribution, compressed air headers, and gas piping where a solder-end bronze valve is specified. Its domestic manufacture and 5-year limited warranty make it a common choice for projects with domestic-content or warranty requirements. This valve is not intended for potable drinking water service.
Designed for use with media including air, gas, and water in commercial and industrial piping systems. Compatible with hot and cold water, HVAC, steam, compressed air, gas, and general utility services. Not for use in potable drinking water service per California Section 116875.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before soldering or servicing the valve. Use standard copper solder-joint techniques and ensure the valve body does not overheat during the soldering process, as excessive heat can damage internal seals and trim. Verify pressure rating compatibility with the system before placing the valve in service.
