The NIBCO Press System ball valve NFB840XB has a lead-free HydraPure Performance Bronze alloy body. This material resists dezincification and is designed for copper connections. The valve uses press-to-connect copper end connections and EPDM O-rings for a watertight seal. Applying a press-fit tool secures the O-ring onto the tube, forming a permanent joint without flame, solder, or flux. Ideal for systems delivering water for human use.
