The NIBCO nf932xa is a lead-free bronze in-line spring check valve designed for press-fit copper piping systems. It uses press x press female end connections with an inboard bead and EPDM O-rings that compress to form a permanent, watertight seal when a press-fit tool is applied. No flame, solder, or flux is required. The valve features a resilient disc and spring actuation to control flow direction, operating at up to 250 psi cold working pressure and withstanding temperatures up to 300 degrees F at 100 psi. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this valve in residential and light commercial potable water lines.
This valve is suited for in-line installation on 1-inch copper press piping systems in residential and commercial plumbing applications. Its spring-actuated lift design prevents backflow without requiring a horizontal installation orientation. The lead-free bronze construction and NSF/ANSI/CAN-61 and 372 certification make it appropriate for potable water service. It is particularly useful in situations where open flame is restricted or where speed of installation is a priority.

Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber using a compatible press-fit tool. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before installing or servicing this valve. Ensure the pipe end is clean, deburred, and properly marked to the insertion depth before pressing. Follow all applicable local plumbing codes and ASTM B88 tube standards when selecting pipe for use with press-fit fittings.
