The NIBCO MD910AA is a true union manual ball valve designed for demanding fluid handling applications where chemical resistance and reliable shutoff are critical. Constructed from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), this valve handles aggressive chemicals and high-purity process fluids without degradation. The full-port design maintains full flow capacity through the valve bore, minimizing pressure drop across the fitting. Rated to 150 psi and 280 degrees F, the MD910AA suits industrial, chemical process, and high-temperature service lines. A licensed plumber or pipefitter typically installs this valve in Schedule 80 thermoplastic piping systems.
This valve is suited for chemical processing, water treatment, semiconductor manufacturing, and other applications requiring a corrosion-resistant, true union ball valve in a 1-inch FNPT x FNPT configuration. The true union design allows the valve body to be removed from the pipeline for maintenance or replacement without disturbing the upstream or downstream piping. The red wedge handle provides clear open and closed position indication and positive grip during actuation. Schedule 80 service is supported throughout the pressure and temperature ratings.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable plumbing and mechanical codes. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing any valve. PVDF threaded connections require careful torque control to avoid over-tightening and cracking the valve body — use PTFE thread sealant tape appropriate for PVDF and follow the fitting manufacturer threading guidelines. Verify that the flow medium is compatible with PVDF before placing the valve in service.
