The MD910A8 is well suited for chemical feed lines, water treatment systems, and industrial process piping where standard brass or stainless valves are not compatible with the media. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Depressurize and drain the system fully before removing or installing the valve. Use PTFE thread tape or a compatible thread sealant rated for PVDF and the media being handled — do not over-tighten threaded connections, as PVDF threads can crack under excessive torque. Verify flow direction and confirm the valve is in the closed position before returning the system to service.
