The NIBCO INC T00200C is a reducing CPVC tee fitting designed for use in hot and cold potable water distribution systems. This three-way fitting connects a 3/4-inch run line to two 1/2-inch branch or outlet connections, allowing a controlled reduction in line size at a single junction point. CPVC construction provides resistance to corrosion, scale buildup, and the higher temperatures associated with domestic hot water service. The fitting is intended for installation by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on residential or light commercial piping systems.
This tee is suited for branch takeoffs in residential water supply lines, multi-family plumbing systems, and light commercial applications where CPVC piping is the specified material. The 3/4 x 1/2 x 1/2 inch reducing configuration is commonly used when transitioning from a main distribution trunk line to fixture supply branches. It is sold in packages of 20 pieces, making it practical for rough-in work where multiple connections of this size are required on a single job.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for CPVC piping systems using standard socket-style solvent-cement connections in the specified reducing sizes.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local amendments. Shut off and depressurize the water supply before cutting into any existing line. Use only CPVC-rated solvent cement and primer; do not substitute PVC cement, as it is not formulated for CPVC material. Allow full cure time per the cement manufacturer instructions before pressurizing the system.
