The NIBCO INC T00180D is a reducing CPVC tee fitting used to split or branch flow in hot and cold water distribution systems. It connects 3/4-inch run ports to a 1/2-inch branch outlet, making it a common fitting in residential and light commercial plumbing rough-in work. CPVC construction provides reliable performance in both hot and cold potable water lines. Licensed plumbers and pipe fitters install this fitting using solvent cement joints per manufacturer and code requirements.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems where a reducing branch connection is needed on a 3/4-inch main run. Typical applications include domestic hot and cold water distribution, branch drops to fixtures, and other pressure piping layouts where CPVC is the specified material. Sold in packages of 25 units, making it practical for rough-in phases where multiple connections are needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for CPVC pressure piping systems using solvent-cement socket connections in 3/4-inch and 1/2-inch pipe sizes.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber following applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the water supply before cutting into any existing line. Clean and prime all mating surfaces before applying CPVC solvent cement, and allow full cure time before pressurizing the system. Do not use this fitting with PVC solvent cement or on systems outside the material rating.
