The NIBCO INC T00120C is a CPVC 90-degree reducing elbow designed for potable water and hot/cold distribution piping. It transitions flow direction while stepping down from a 3/4-inch inlet to a 1/2-inch outlet in a single fitting. CPVC construction provides resistance to corrosion, scale, and the elevated temperatures common in hot-water supply lines. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in residential and light commercial plumbing systems where a directional change and a pipe-size reduction are needed at the same junction point.
This elbow is suited for use in copper tube size (CTS) CPVC piping systems carrying potable water, including branch lines, riser connections, and fixture supply runs. The 90-degree geometry makes it a standard choice for right-angle turns at walls, floors, and ceilings. It is sold in a package quantity of 20 units, making it practical for new construction rough-in work or service van stocking.
Designed as an OEM-style solvent-weld fitting for CTS CPVC piping systems in residential and light commercial plumbing applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber following applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting and fitting. Use only CPVC-rated solvent cement and primer; do not use PVC cement, as it is not rated for CPVC. Allow full cure time per the cement manufacturer before restoring flow or pressure-testing the line.
