The NIBCO INC BF0270LC is a 1/2 inch CxCxF (copper by copper by female NPT) tee fitting designed for use in continuous copper pipeline runs where a branch connection to a threaded outlet is required. The fitting features solder cups on both run ends and a female NPT-threaded branch outlet, allowing a plumber or pipefitter to split flow in a new direction while transitioning from a sweat-soldered connection to a threaded connection in a single fitting. It meets lead-free material requirements, making it suitable for potable water systems where lead-free compliance is mandated.
