The NIBCO I098000 is a drain, waste, and vent (DWV) sanitary tee fitting designed for gravity-flow drainage piping systems. Molded from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), this fitting connects three pipe runs with a swept inlet that directs flow toward the main drain line. All three connections are hub-type ends, sized at 1-1/4 inches, accepting solvent-welded ABS pipe. At 0.17 pounds, the fitting is lightweight and easy to handle during overhead or wall-cavity rough-in work. Licensed plumbers and experienced pipefitters install this type of fitting during new construction and remodel drain rough-in where a branch tie-in to a vertical or near-vertical stack is required.

This sanitary tee is used in residential and light commercial DWV systems. Common applications include lavatory drain branch connections, fixture trap arms, and vent tie-ins where a directional sweep fitting is required by code. Installation Notes
