The NIBCO h-80615 is a full-port brass ball valve designed for press-connection installations in commercial and residential plumbing systems. Part of the H-x061 Series, it features a brass body, brass ball, and PTFE seat and seal, delivering reliable shutoff performance rated to 250 psi and 250 degrees F. The valve includes an integrated hi-flow hose drain and a reversible aluminum handle, making it well-suited for systems where periodic draining or isolation is required. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this valve where quick quarter-turn shutoff and convenient drainage access are priorities.
The h-80615 is used in residential and light commercial hydronic, potable water, and general plumbing piping systems requiring a 1-1/4 inch press-end connection. Its full-port design minimizes flow restriction, and the reversible handle accommodates tight or awkward installations where handle orientation must be adjusted to clear obstructions. The hi-flow hose drain port adds utility for system servicing, draining, or sampling without requiring a separate valve downstream.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation ball valve for 1-1/4 inch press-end copper or compatible piping systems in plumbing and hydronic applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber following applicable local plumbing codes. Press connections require a calibrated press tool with the correct jaw set for the pipe diameter and fitting series. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before servicing or replacing the valve. Do not apply open flame near the valve body or softgoods during or after installation.
