The NIBCO CE04400 is a Schedule 80 PVDF threaded union designed for 1-1/2 inch pipe systems requiring chemically resistant, high-integrity connections. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic rated for aggressive chemical service, making this union a go-to choice where standard PVC or CPVC would be unsuitable. The female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections on both ends allow the union to mate with standard threaded plastic or compatible metal pipe. Installation Notes
