The NIBCO CE04300 is a 3/4 inch Schedule 80 threaded union designed for plastic piping systems handling corrosive or high-purity fluid applications. Molded from PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), this union provides strong chemical resistance and maintains structural integrity across a wide range of operating temperatures. The female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections on both ends allow for straightforward assembly into threaded Schedule 80 pipe runs. Licensed plumbers and industrial pipe fitters install this fitting in systems where standard PVC or CPVC cannot tolerate the chemical environment. Conforms to ASTM D3222 material standards for PVDF fittings.
The CE04300 is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, chemical processing, water treatment, and semiconductor or laboratory fluid handling systems. Its Schedule 80 wall thickness provides the pressure rating and durability needed in demanding service conditions. PVDF is widely specified in applications involving chlorine, acids, solvents, and other aggressive media that degrade lesser thermoplastics. This union allows section removal and reinstallation without cutting into the pipe, simplifying maintenance on threaded PVDF systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for Schedule 80 PVDF threaded piping systems using 3/4 inch female iron pipe thread connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipe fitter familiar with thermoplastic piping systems. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before disassembly or installation. Use thread sealants and tapes rated compatible with PVDF and the specific fluid being handled, as some compounds will degrade the fitting material. Follow applicable codes including IPC and local plumbing authority requirements for plastic piping in the intended service environment.
