The NIBCO CE03925 is a Schedule 80 PVDF threaded pipe nipple designed for demanding fluid-handling applications where chemical resistance and elevated temperature performance are required. Sized at 1-1/2 inches pipe diameter and 3 inches in length, it is machined with male NPT threads on both ends for direct connection into threaded fittings, valves, or equipment ports. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) provides excellent resistance to a broad range of aggressive chemicals, making this nipple a reliable choice in systems handling acids, solvents, and other corrosive media. Plumbers and pipefitters working in industrial, chemical processing, and high-purity environments specify Schedule 80 PVDF nipples for their combination of pressure capacity and chemical inertness.
This nipple is suited for both industrial and commercial piping installations where metallic components are inappropriate due to corrosion risk or contamination concerns. Typical applications include chemical feed lines, water treatment systems, semiconductor fabrication, and laboratory plumbing. Its natural PVDF color and Schedule 80 wall thickness meet the dimensional standards required for ASTM D3222 compliant systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters handle installation as part of new construction or retrofit piping runs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation component for Schedule 80 PVDF threaded piping systems using 1-1/2 inch MNPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter familiar with thermoplastic piping systems. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing or installing any threaded nipple. Use PTFE thread tape rated for PVDF and chemical service — do not use pipe dope compounds that are incompatible with PVDF. Avoid over-torquing threaded plastic fittings, as PVDF is strong but can crack under excessive mechanical stress; follow the fitting manufacturer's recommended assembly guidelines.
