Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter familiar with plastic pressure piping per applicable IPC and ASME B31 standards. Isolate and depressurize the system and drain the line before removing or installing any threaded nipple. Use PTFE thread tape or a PVDF-compatible thread sealant rated for the media being conveyed — do not use petroleum-based pipe dopes that may degrade PVDF. Avoid over-torquing threaded connections, as excessive force can crack plastic fittings.
