The NIBCO CE03300 is a Schedule 80 flush threaded reducer bushing manufactured from PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), a high-performance thermoplastic suited for demanding chemical and industrial piping applications. It connects a 1-inch male iron pipe thread (MIPT) on the outer end to a 3/4-inch female iron pipe thread (FIPT) on the inner end, allowing a reduction in pipe size within an existing threaded system. Schedule 80 wall thickness provides additional pressure capacity compared to Schedule 40. Licensed plumbers and industrial pipefitters install this fitting in systems where chemical resistance, purity, and durability under elevated temperatures are required.
This reducer bushing is intended for use in chemical process piping, ultrapure water systems, and industrial fluid handling where PVDF material compatibility is specified. The flush-style design seats the bushing flush within the fitting socket, keeping the assembly compact. Avoid over-tightening threaded plastic fittings, as excess torque can crack the fitting body.
