The NIBCO CE02900 is a Schedule 80 PVDF thermoplastic pipe end cap designed to terminate 1-1/2 inch female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connections in industrial and chemical piping systems. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) offers excellent resistance to a wide range of aggressive chemicals, UV exposure, and high-purity process fluids, making it a common material choice where standard PVC or CPVC would be inadequate. The cap threads directly onto exposed male pipe ends to provide a secure, leak-free termination.
