The NIBCO CE02250 is a 1/2 inch Schedule 80 hex plug manufactured from PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) thermoplastic. It is designed to seal off male-threaded pipe ends using a Male NPT (MIPT) connection. Schedule 80 wall thickness provides the pressure ratings and mechanical strength required in demanding industrial and chemical service applications. PVDF offers excellent resistance to a broad range of corrosive chemicals, UV exposure, and elevated service temperatures, making it suitable for systems where metal fittings would degrade.
