The NIBCO CE01750 is a Schedule 80 PVDF socket tee fitting designed for use in industrial piping systems that require high chemical resistance and pressure-rated performance. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a fluoropolymer thermoplastic that holds up against aggressive acids, bases, and solvents where standard PVC or CPVC fittings are not suitable. This tee features three socket end connections (S x S x S) and is sized for 1/2-inch pipe. It is installed by licensed plumbers and industrial piping contractors in chemical processing, water treatment, and high-purity fluid handling applications.
This fitting is used in Schedule 80 PVDF piping systems where a branch connection is needed at the same pipe size. Common applications include chemical feed lines, semiconductor fabrication water systems, laboratory piping, and industrial process lines handling corrosive media. The socket-style end connections are compatible with Schedule 80 PVDF pipe for solvent-cemented joints. This fitting is sized at 1/2 inch and is sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for Schedule 80 PVDF piping systems using 1/2-inch socket-connect pipe.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified industrial piping technician. Isolate and depressurize the piping system and drain all fluid before cutting into an existing line. PVDF socket fittings are joined using approved PVDF-compatible solvent cement following the manufacturer's joining procedure and applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC. Do not apply excessive torque or mechanical stress to the fitting body during assembly, as PVDF can crack under point loading.
