The NIBCO CE00550 is a Schedule 80 PVDF pipe adapter coupling designed for chemical-resistant piping systems where standard thermoplastic fittings fall short. Constructed from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), this fitting delivers high resistance to aggressive chemicals, UV exposure, and elevated service temperatures. The 3/4-inch fitting uses female pipe thread (FPT) connections on both ends, making it suitable for transitioning between threaded pipe sections in demanding industrial or commercial plumbing applications. Licensed plumbing contractors and industrial pipefitters are the primary installers of Schedule 80 PVDF fittings of this type.
