The NIBCO CE00150 is a Schedule 80 PVDF socket coupling designed for joining 1-1/2 inch plastic piping systems where chemical resistance and pressure performance are required. Constructed from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), this coupling handles aggressive fluid transfer applications that exceed the capabilities of standard PVC or CPVC fittings. The end connections are configured Slip x SR FIPT, allowing one socket-style solvent-weld connection and one female iron pipe thread engagement. Installation Notes

Solvent-weld connections require an appropriate PVDF cement and primer rated for the fluid service — standard PVC or CPVC cements are not compatible with PVDF.
