The NIBCO CD03905 is a Schedule 80 PVDF threaded pipe nipple designed for use in demanding fluid-handling systems where chemical resistance and pressure performance are required. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a high-performance thermoplastic that holds up to aggressive chemicals, high-purity water systems, and elevated operating temperatures better than standard PVC or CPVC fittings. This nipple measures 1-1/2 inches pipe size and is colored red for easy identification in multi-pipe installations. It is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on industrial, commercial, or laboratory piping systems.
