The NIBCO CD02850 is a 1-inch Schedule 80 PVDF end cap designed to terminate threaded pipe runs in demanding fluid-handling systems. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a high-performance thermoplastic chosen for its resistance to aggressive chemicals, UV exposure, and elevated temperatures. The female iron pipe thread (FIPT) connection on each end allows the cap to thread directly onto male-threaded pipe or fittings. At 0.165 pounds, it is lightweight for field carrying and storage. Red coloring provides quick visual identification in multi-line piping installations. Licensed plumbers and industrial pipefitters are the typical installers.
