The NIBCO CD02250 is a 1/2 inch Schedule 80 hex plug manufactured from PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) thermoplastic. It features male iron pipe thread (MIPT) connections and is used to seal or blank off the end of a threaded pipe or fitting. PVDF offers superior chemical resistance compared to PVC or CPVC, making this plug appropriate for aggressive fluid handling systems where standard plastics are unsuitable.
