The NIBCO CD01450 is a 2-inch Schedule 80 PVDF 90-degree elbow designed for use in corrosive-fluid piping systems where chemical resistance and pressure rating matter. PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) offers excellent resistance to a wide range of acids, bases, and solvents, making this fitting suitable for aggressive media handling. The slip by SR female iron pipe thread (Slip x SR FIPT) end connections allow integration with both solvent-welded PVDF pipe and threaded fittings in the same assembly. At Schedule 80 wall thickness, this elbow is rated for higher operating pressures than Schedule 40 alternatives. Plumbing and industrial piping contractors install this fitting in systems where standard PVC or CPVC would be insufficient.

Threaded connections should be made with PTFE tape or a thread sealant approved for use with PVDF and the specific fluid being conveyed.
