The NIBCO CC05450 is a Schedule 80 flush reducer bushing designed to transition between 1-1/2 inch and 1 inch threaded pipe connections in industrial and commercial piping systems. Molded from black polypropylene, this bushing accepts a male iron pipe thread (MIPT) on the outer end and a female iron pipe thread (FIPT) on the inner end, allowing a straightforward reduction within a threaded fitting assembly. Schedule 80 wall thickness provides the additional pressure rating and mechanical strength required for demanding service conditions.
