The NIBCO CC05300 is a Schedule 80 flush reducer bushing designed to reduce a 1-inch male pipe thread connection down to a 3/4-inch female pipe thread connection in a single fitting. Molded from black polypropylene, it delivers solid chemical resistance and durability in both pressure and drainage applications. The MIPT x FIPT end configuration allows it to thread directly into existing pipe assemblies without additional adapters. At 0.07 pounds, it is a lightweight yet rigid fitting suited for use by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on industrial, commercial, or mechanical system piping runs.
This bushing is commonly installed in process piping, irrigation systems, chemical handling lines, and plumbing systems where a threaded reduction between 1-inch and 3/4-inch lines is required. Schedule 80 wall thickness provides added pressure capacity compared to Schedule 40 fittings, making it appropriate for applications with elevated operating pressures. Polypropylene construction resists many acids, bases, and solvents, which extends its service life in demanding environments beyond what standard PVC fittings can handle.
Designed as an OEM-style threaded fitting for use in Schedule 80 polypropylene piping systems requiring a 1-inch to 3/4-inch male-to-female threaded reduction.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. De-pressurize and drain the line completely before removing any existing fittings or installing this bushing. Use PTFE thread tape or an approved thread sealant rated for polypropylene and the media being conveyed. Do not over-torque threaded plastic fittings, as excessive force can crack the fitting body.
