The NIBCO CC05200 is a Schedule 80 flush reducer bushing designed to reduce a 3/4-inch male iron pipe thread (MIPT) connection down to a 1/2-inch female iron pipe thread (FIPT). Molded from black polypropylene, it handles a maximum working temperature of 180 degrees F, making it suitable for a range of industrial and commercial piping applications. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting where a threaded line must transition to a smaller diameter without a coupling or nipple between fittings. The Schedule 80 wall thickness provides additional pressure resistance compared to Schedule 40.
