The NIBCO CC02000 is a 3/4 inch Schedule 80 polypropylene 90-degree elbow fitting designed for plastic piping systems in corrosive or high-temperature service environments. Rated for working temperatures up to 180 degrees F, this fitting handles demanding fluid handling applications where standard PVC would be inadequate. The slip x SR FIPT end connections allow solvent-cement socket entry on one end and a standard female iron pipe thread connection on the other, giving installers flexibility when transitioning between pipe segments or equipment ports. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters typically install this type of fitting in chemical processing, industrial, and commercial plumbing systems.
This fitting is suited for Schedule 80 polypropylene piping systems in residential, commercial, and light industrial applications where chemical resistance and elevated temperature tolerance are required. The black polypropylene construction resists a broad range of acids, bases, and solvents. It is commonly installed in laboratory drain lines, chemical feed systems, and process piping where metal fittings are not appropriate. The 3/4 inch size fits standard 3/4 inch pipe schedules, making it a direct-fit component in new construction and retrofit work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for Schedule 80 polypropylene piping systems using 3/4 inch pipe with slip socket and SR FIPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the piping system completely before cutting into any existing line. Use solvent cement rated for polypropylene on the slip socket end, and apply appropriate thread sealant compatible with polypropylene on the FIPT connection. Do not exceed the rated maximum working temperature of 180 degrees F in service.
