Product Description

The NIBCO bv114 is a full-port brass ball valve rated to PN30 working pressure, designed for isolation and shutoff service in plumbing, mechanical, and light industrial piping systems. The body is nickel-plated brass and the ball is hard chromium plated brass, providing corrosion resistance across a wide range of media. PTFE and NBR seals support a service temperature range of -20 degrees C to +150 degrees C. The valve is threaded female Rp 1-1/4 on both ports and conforms to DIN 3202-M3 face-to-face dimensions, making it a direct fit in metric-dimensioned pipework. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers.

The bv114 is suited for residential and light commercial piping applications where a reliable manual shutoff is required. Approved media include water (non-steam), neutral gaseous media, non-aggressive liquid media, mineral oils, compressed air, and vacuum service up to -0.9 bar. The full-port orifice (DN32, 32 mm bore) minimizes flow restriction. Optional combi handles are available separately, allowing the operator to fit standard, toggle, flat steel, or long handle styles in multiple colors for visual identification or lockout purposes.

Installation Notes

Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service media to Rp female threads. Verify handle clearance before final positioning, particularly when optional long or flat steel handles are used in confined spaces.
