The NIBCO B352350 is a cast copper bulkhead fitting designed to create a leak-tight through-wall or through-tank connection in pressure piping systems. At 3/4 inches, it uses a C x M (sweat by male threaded) end connection, allowing one side to be soldered directly to copper tubing while the other side threads into a female-threaded port. The fitting is lead free, meeting the requirements for potable water applications. It is sized and rated as a pressure fitting per ASME B16.18. Plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in copper water supply systems, storage tanks, water heaters, and similar pressurized assemblies where a pipe must pass through a wall or vessel wall cleanly and securely.
This bulkhead fitting is used in residential and light commercial plumbing where a copper pipe must penetrate a tank wall, equipment panel, or partition. Typical applications include water heater connections, pressure tank installations, and equipment enclosures where a sweat-to-thread transition at the penetration point is required. The lead-free construction makes it suitable for domestic potable water systems in jurisdictions enforcing low-lead plumbing codes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation bulkhead fitting for 3/4 inches copper pressure piping systems using C x M connections.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before beginning work. The sweat (C) end requires proper flux application and soldering with a torch; follow all applicable IPC and local plumbing codes for sweat joints in pressure systems. Ensure the bulkhead nut or locknut is drawn up to the correct panel thickness before threading the male end into the mating port.
