Product Description

The NIBCO B067050 is a cast copper 90-degree drop ear elbow designed for sweat-to-female-thread transitions in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The fitting measures 3/4 inch on the copper sweat (C) inlet and reduces to a 1/2-inch female thread (F) outlet, allowing a direct connection to threaded pipe or a shower arm stub-out. Cast from copper alloy per ASTM B584, it provides the corrosion resistance and pressure rating required for potable water and hydronic supply lines. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting where a pipe must change direction by 90 degrees and terminate at a wall-mounted threaded connection point.

This drop ear elbow is commonly used in residential plumbing rough-in work, particularly for shower and tub valve installations, wall-mount faucet rough-ins, and similar applications where the fitting is secured to blocking or a structural member before the wall surface is finished. Installation Notes
