The NIBCO 9102956HPC is a PCH611 series copper press tee fitting designed for tool-based press connections in copper tubing systems. It measures 2 inches by 2 inches by 3/4 inch, making it a reducing tee suitable for branching off a main run while stepping down to a smaller branch line. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors use this fitting in lieu of soldered joints, eliminating open flame on the job. The press connection is completed with a compatible pressing tool and jaw set, and a visible stamped witness mark confirms a properly seated crimp.
This fitting is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, hydronic, compressed air, and gas distribution systems that use seamless copper water tube. It can be installed in exposed, concealed, and underground applications. The PCH611 configuration is commonly used in mechanical rooms, distribution manifolds, and branch-line retrofits where flame-free joining is preferred or required by code or job-site conditions.
Designed for use with seamless copper water tube in residential and commercial plumbing, gas, and compressed air piping systems. Requires a compatible NIBCO PressG pressing tool, jaw, and chain for installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable plumbing codes such as the IPC and local jurisdictional requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system before cutting and fitting the tee. Use only a pressing tool and jaw set rated and approved for this fitting series. Verify the witness mark is visible on every connection before restoring system pressure.
