The NIBCO 9030750PC is a wrot copper adapter fitting designed to transition between a press-style connection and a male NPT threaded end. The press end accepts a standard press tool for a flame-free, solder-free joint, while the male NPT end threads into a compatible female-threaded port on valves, equipment, or piping. The nominal size is 1/2 inch on the press side and 3/4 inch on the male NPT side. This fitting is domestically manufactured from wrot copper, which offers consistent grain structure and reliable mechanical performance under typical plumbing service conditions. It is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters in both residential and light commercial applications.
This adapter is suited for potable water supply lines, hydronic heating systems, and general plumbing installations where a press connection must interface with a threaded component. The press end is compatible with standard press tooling used with copper press systems. It is commonly installed when connecting press-system copper tubing runs to threaded pump flanges, valves, manifolds, or other threaded equipment ports that require a 3/4 inch MNPT connection at the transition point.
Designed as an OEM-style copper press fitting for use in residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic systems where a press-to-male-NPT transition is required at 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch nominal sizing.
Installation of the press end requires a calibrated press tool with the correct jaw profile for copper press fittings — consult the press tool manufacturer for proper jaw selection. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before installing or modifying any fitting. Thread the male NPT end into the receiving port using an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape in accordance with IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Do not overtighten the threaded connection, as copper fittings can be damaged by excessive torque.
