The NIBCO 39923689368 is a three-piece, full port ball valve in the S-595-Y-66 series, designed for high-pressure fluid and gas control in commercial and residential mechanical systems. The bronze body pairs with a stainless steel ball and stem trim for corrosion resistance across a wide range of media. PTFE and fluorocarbon rubber softgoods provide durable seating under demanding conditions. Rated to 600 psi and 400 degrees F, this valve handles compressed air, hot and cold water, gas lines, vacuum service, and condenser or chilled water circuits. A standard lever actuator allows for quick quarter-turn operation. The valve is domestically manufactured.
This valve is sized at 3/4 in nominal with a solder end style for copper tubing connections, making it a common choice for hydronic heating systems, chilled water loops, condenser water piping, compressed air distribution, and numerous gas service applications. The three-piece body design allows the valve to be removed from the line for inspection or seat replacement without disturbing adjacent piping. Inlet to outlet length measures 2.94 inches with a 2-inch top-to-inlet center dimension. It is suitable for installation by licensed plumbers and pipefitters in both light commercial and residential applications. Note: Per California Section 116875, this valve is not approved for potable drinking water service.
Rated for use with air, gas, water, vacuum service, compressed air, condenser water, and chilled water media. Compatible with 3/4 in copper tubing via solder end connections. Not for use in potable drinking water service per California Section 116875.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter following applicable local codes, IFGC requirements for gas service, and IPC guidelines for water service. Depressurize and drain the system fully before soldering the valve into the line. Allow solder joints to cool completely before applying system pressure. The three-piece construction permits the valve internals to be removed and inspected without cutting the line.
